The highest peak of the state Jharkhand is located in Giridih District known as Parasnath Hill.its around 1365 mt.  There are several tourist places.The hill has one of the oldest Jain temple called Parasnath Temple. Its most important pilgrimage center of Jains. Lots of peoples come here to visit every year. 

    The other tourist places on the hills are Sita Nala Waterfall, Kunjuu Swami and Gandghar Maharaj Ki Tank, Gandharwala Waterfall, Saharsa Koot and Nandishwar Dweep etc.

                     

The hill is cover with full of nature & adventures places. the environment of this hill is just awesome, very good place to keep peace of mind.

5. Deoghar       

  



Deoghar also known as “Baba Ki Nagri” or “Baba Dham” located in North-eastern part of Jharkhand. It is also known as the one of popular Hindu-Holy pilgrimage India. The city name means is “Abode of god and goddess” place.

Border-  Deoghar border share with Dumka to the east, Giridih to west, Bihar to the north and in south with Jamtara.

The reason behind the popularity - Deoghar is popular city not in the state only but all over the country. It is famous for one of the twelve Jyotirlinga BABA BAIDHNATH Temple. Dhanbad is also known as the Coal capital of India. The word Dhanbad meaning is fulfilled of minerals resources located in eastern part of Jharkhand.

Border- the city Dhanbad  border share with Jamtara in east, Bokaro to the west, Giridih to north and in the south with  West Bangal.

River-  Damodar, Brakar, Gobai, Jamunia, Khudiya, Pusai and Katari.

The reason behind the popularity- The main popularity of the city is for its mineral sources and ISM (IIT) and BIT Sindri. Dhanbad has many industrial establishments which spread over a large area. dhanbad is economically very important place. There you can find many malls and shopping points. There is a big mall — Bokaro mall, also many shopping mall lacated in cityIts very clean, has good roads and parks. Bokaro is becoming taller and taller day by day, multi storied buildings are erecting up. Jameshpur known as the industrial Capital of Jharkhand located in southern-east part of Jharkhand. The title name of Jamshedpur is TATA Nagar and also known as the name of East- Singhbhum.

Border – Jamshedpur share its border with West Bangal to east, Saraykela-kharsanwa to the west, West Bangal to the north and in south with Odisa.

River- Savarnrekha, Kharkai,Gurra and Garanalla.

The reason behind the popularity-  Jamshedpur popularly known as Tatanagar. No doubt it’s a very advanced city in Jharkhand founded by Jamshed ji Tata. It is a mega industrial center of the region. It’s one of the very clean , green and tidy cities of India and is also one of the planned cities in the country. An international stadium named Kinan located where many international and national games organize and mostly known for Cricket games. Its wide roads, good electricity distribution and other civil facilities make beauty. There is also a marine drive. No traffic snarls, no over crowdies, no pollution. It has good sports related infrastructure. Recently big malls have opened. It’s a great city to live in. But it gets very hot during summer. It’s little expensive. And there will be an airport in future. Tata Steel Zoology Park located in the city which is beauty and here also a one of the oldest fort named Dhalbhum Raj fort.

Ranchi is known as the Shimla of Jharkhand State also known as the city of waterfalls located in middle part of Jharkhand.

Border- Ranchi city share its border with West Bangal to the east, Gumla to west, Ramgarh to north and in south with Khunti.

There is an international cricket stadium known as JACA stadium also a Birsa stadium, Jaypal Singh stadium, Asroturf stadium, Railway stadium, Sheikh Bikhari stadium Mandar located in Ranchi. Ranchi is developed / developing well in every field. Whether it be industries , employment , education , start ups , health care , hospitality , real estate , sports , leisure , aviation or any other thing. Since its capital and center of politics of Jharkhand, so every other day you will witness bandh , road jam , rally , strike , violent protests etc. Its residents are now habituated of these things. But its continuously transforming itself into a bigger and better city. City has huge economical potential in terms of Tourisms, Industrial, Corporate sector as well. There is many trustable health hospital located like Medanta, Appollo, Raj Hospital and Research center etc. Ranchi has also a state Govt Hospital RIMS. Ranchi is also known as the educational hub where many reputed Education organization located. Jharkhand is a state in eastern India known as the” land of forest”. Formation of state in 15th of November 2000 from the territory that had previously been part of Bihar. The word Jharkhand means the State of Forest. Its account for more than 40% minerals resource of India.The state is primarily rural with  only 24% people living in cities.
